Columbus Recreation and Parks Department’s Outdoor Recreation program is seeking volunteers, ages 13-17(completed 7th grade), for the Counselor in Training (CIT) program. CITs work alongside camp counselors to teach campers, play games, hike, fish, canoe and more. The CIT program is a great way to build confidence and gain experience while transitioning from camper to counselor. Teens must be motivated, enthusiastic, creative and willing to work with children in the outdoors.
The CIT program runs for 10 weeks during the summer, starting June 7, at Indian Village Day Camp, Camp Terra, Camp Turnberry, and new this year, Discover Boating Camp.
A $30 participation fee will be due by the first date of attendance.Learn More
